In this time of uncertainty, we are taking steps to continue delivering the superior levels of service for which Psychemedics has become known. First, as with many of you, our people are our most valued asset and safeguarding their well-being is a top priority. With that in mind, we are instituting precautionary measures at our laboratory that enable us to continue processing samples in a timely manner while mitigating risks to our teams. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) provides guidelines for protective measures, many of which are already in place. Others are specific to our business. Those measures are also now in place.
As you know, the Covid-19 threat is still emerging but as it stands today, the adjustments we have made are enabling us to process samples without disruption. You should be assured that our laboratory continues to operate at the highest standards for which we have been accredited and certified by numerous regulatory bodies. And you can be confident that we will continue to meet your testing needs. That said, we are closely monitoring potential operational impacts and quickly making adjustments as warranted.
In addition, we hope that you are taking the necessary steps to protect yourself and those around you. Each of you, your coworkers and your families are in our thoughts during these challenging times.
