This banner says News You Can Use

This year’s CESA conference was a resounding success and an opportunity to see old friends, make new ones, network and learn. For me personally, it was a chance to meet many of you face-to-face for the first time in a very long time, and I valued every conversation. For those of you who couldn’t join, I am happy to chat and share things I learned; we hope you can make it next year.

Each conference comes with its own theme, and many of you shared with me that on the heels of the pandemic-driven turmoil of the past year, you are more acutely aware of the pressures students and the substance use challenges that come with those pressures. As the world leader for hair testing for drugs of abuse, we share your concerns, and collectively we can ensure bright futures for our young people.

You should know that you continue to have both Psychemedics’ and my personal commitment to be your partner in creating and sustaining programs that can protect your students and campuses from the impacts of substance abuse. And we will continue to advance the hair test science to keep you ahead of the curve.

If you should have any questions about trends in the substance abuse market, programs others are running to protect their campuses, or if you want to share some experiences of your own, please do reach out. And I will continue to provide information and any insights we may be develop through the coming months and years.

Thank you for all you do for our young people on your campuses and beyond.
