COVID stole headlines much of the past 18 months. And as often happens, with the attention there, other threats emerged unnoticed. Drug cartels have upped the ante on educators by flooding the U.S. market with counterfeit pills that resemble those popular with teen partiers. But they are not what they appear. They are fentanyl, and that is a drug that slips by a standard 5-panel drug test and is potentially deadly.
